Georgia on my Mind

 Our summer is wrapping up in the best way possible, surrounded by people we love!

The boys and I flew to Georgia for nearly two weeks of family and friends.

We started our trip with lunch with Gammie's best friend, Lesley.

We are so blessed that Gammie has such a dear friend!

The first two days were enjoyed poolside when sunny

and then to the sweet sound of thunderstorms

Heidi and Craig spoiled all of us with gifts when we arrived at their house

It works out so nicely that Craig and Heidi have

a room for Gammie, too, so we can all be together!

I am so glad Rachel turned her birthday into a reunion!

This was the first time our college roomie group has all been together in TWENTY years. I think we have all aged so beautifully, both inside and out. 

I pray this was the start of many more group get togethers!

After a late night out, I woke up early to catch a hug and some breakfast with Shorna. This busy lady only had time for a quick meet-up this trip, so I'll have to fly back soon for more time with her and to see sweet Thenor who just keeps growing!

Jan has moved her summer campground base from Michigan to Tennessee, so....
