We had a splashing good time with Craig and Heidi this past week!!
While Heidi came last year to help me unpack and settle in, she missed meeting Nikolai by just a few weeks. Nikolai was eager to get to know Aunt Heidi, and jumped in to help her unpack!
Alexander was thrilled to have Heidi's help in placing his Marvel heroes in his magazine from Gammie
We spent a few days consuming all of Heidi's time and attention and all got very spoiled by her presence
We were so excited to share her attention, and divide ours, when Craig was able to make a splashing entrance to the party!

Despite the heat (115 degrees and counting....), we spent most of our time outdoors. Heidi and I ran in the mornings, and then we enjoyed pool time, Top Golf, and soccer. Alexander has mastered swimming the length of the pool along the bottom, and got us all involved in races and challenges to help us stave off heat exhaustion

and Zoomed Jan in as the judge for our second round
Despite catching his first summer cold and not feeling his best, I think Nikolai won over his Aunt Heidi, and solidified his spot in Uncle Craig's heart.
We look forward to many visits in the future!
