Lordy Lordy, Daniel's Forty!

 

We lived it up for Daniel's fortieth birthday with a staycation on the strip

Bryan and Anne helped us kick off the shenanigans with a retro themed dinner at an exclusive restaurant, Delilah

Before heading to dinner, we enjoyed the perks of our hotel

Daniel's suit matched my dress by sheer coincidence! The lining was the same color and floral pattern

After dinner we headed to Area 15 for vintage video games. Our Uber back to the hotel was insane! Strobe lights, microphones, an air horn....and more. Definitely the most suped-up ride I've ever taken.

Jan flew in that evening and went right to our house to relieve our amazing sitter for the night. The next day she joined us at the Flamingo for a pool day.

Day three consisted of a pool day at Red Rock and a baseball game

Chris flew in to join the fun! His fortieth is just two weeks after Daniel's. These guys make 40 look amazing.

Leaving the game, we saw a city bus sitting empty. We asked if the boys could get on. They ran to the back and sang Wheels on the Bus and Niko has been talking about it ever since!

We had a great time celebrating our favorite guy. We laughed that he could have kept the kids away, but instead chose to include them in every part of the staycation. They may drive us nuts, but we sure love our family!

There are a lot of things I love about Daniel, but can we just pause and admire his physique foe a moment? As the boys like to say,

"RIP CITY!"
