When my dad's regular Saturday morning call resulted in me nearly in tears over the struggles of single parenting while Daniel is gone, plane tickets were quickly purchased resulting in a memorable visit with our VIP.

The boys have struggled with Daniel being gone and their antics have stretched me thin. Having Papa here helped me find patience as they wrestled in a restaurant booth

We spent a fun day at our little local Children's museum. It was over 100 degrees outside, so this was a perfect energy burner.
Our bestest neighbor, Mia joined us. She is the perfect pal for both boys.
Dr. Niko took good care of Alexander
The trio spent half an hour building the perfect car. Mia was catching a plane to Hawaii, Alexander to Chicago, but Niko kept screaming that NO! The car was going straight to Virginia to pick up Daddy! The other two missed their flights... it was hilarious.

Papa assured Grandma Jay he was just playing judge and not trying to become the boss of the courthouse!
Niko had his audiology appointment and all sounds great!
Papa came at the perfect time to help with appointments and pre-planning. Now our school year is underway as we count the days until Daniel is home.
