Major Catch-Up Required

I have fallen off posting on the blog, and have felt overwhelmed with how to jump back in. Well, I'm just going to throw it all here and try to do better in the future. Here's to looking forward!

We had an amazing summer wrap-up and jumped right into what has started as an incredible school year.

We have been blessed with fabulous teachers for both our boys this year. We are so happy at Village. It is nice to love where I work and know my boys are in good hands.

Alexander said, "I feel like these are my kind of teachers."

From wanting to be a dinosaur and a spider cat to a scientist and an Air Force officer. I can't lie, it isn't always easy to watch them grow up!

Brotherly love walks a thin line with fighting when mom has to run errands

All clear for both boys at the dentist. It was me that needed a filling!

We loved the Museum of Natural Sciences

We were in good company!

Just one of the reasons I love my job so much

Our friends the Garcia's moved to town and we could not enjoy having them as neighbors more than we are! With triplets Niko's age and Benson being such a great friend for Alexander, it is always a party when we get together.

Gary is so patient with the boys as they learned to ride the dirt bikes and drifters

My boys' Christmas list got much longer after all the fun they've had at the Garcia's!

I am in my kids' birthday party era

Helping his mama as best he can

We have formed an amazing network of neighbor friends recently and it warms my heart to no end. It also keeps Zoey nice and warm! One of our neighbor besties is Zoey's newest favorite person. Our old girl will put up with more from Emma than she will from her own brothers.

Soccer season started and our new league does not look like we expected, but as long as we have Mikel on the field with us, the Martin boys are making the most of it. We have great coaches and Niko is playing up with Mikel and Alexander so is learning a ton. We just hoped for more competitive gameplay. Maybe next season!

Gammie came for a visit and we did all the things

We love our neighbors!

Fun rivalry at the Back to School Bash

The silliest Bulldog around!

October may not have brought cooler weather yet, but it brought something much more important.
We got Daniel home!!

The boys and I ducked out of school a bit early to head to the airport and pick up this handsome guy

The boys took no time in jumping into daddy snuggles and stories

The Crew is complete again!

Jan came to visit the same day we got Daniel home.  That meant we had to head out for our annual tradition of Golden Corral and Spirit Halloween

Warm weather means it's still bike season

It's nice to have an extra set of hands for all the things. Daniel and Alexander have really had fun with the latest third grade project.

That's a wrap!
Niko's birthday party will be a blog for another day.
Our hearts are full as we head into fall.
