Thankfulness

The Martin Crew is taking advantage of living within driving distance to Atlanta! When Aunt Jan scheduled her annual cookie decorating day, we marked our calendars to hit the road.

These boys love their Daisy girl. Such sweet cousins

Burning some of their access energy before heading to the cookie party

This was the best turnout yet! The house was full and everyone had a fantastic time.

Gammie made sure we had comfy jammies for cookie day

The weather was perfect for a midday fire

Alexander tended the fire for NINE HOURS, with only a short cookie break

Daisy in the middle of everything, of course

Gammie Jammies and cousins galore!

We love getting together with Billie Rose and Joelle.
We are so blessed to have everyone close enough to all get together.

Enjoying the fire our boy kept going

I missed getting pictures with my girl Rachel, but I was able to squeeze in time with her and my other college besties.  UGA is more than football, y'all! I found friends for life, my handsome hubby, and got an amazing education. I'll go through eight overtimes for any of my Georgia folks, just sayin'!

The only picture I got while we were with Rachel. We celebrated her dad's 11th anniversary since opening Three Taverns Craft Brewery. We had a blast and it was great to catch up. Next time, I'll snap a picture with my girl!

We headed out to Weston's farm for the first time and had a blast with all of her animals.
And the kids, too!

Niko and Alexander fell in love with Weston's one year old GSD, butter.
They played outside with her all day!

Love this baby boy

and his mama!

That evening we headed into Roswell to meet my girl Petty for the Christkindlmarket, a German Christmas market.

It was a fun market and the boys and I got lots of Christmas gifts covered, but my favorite part was catching up with one of my favorite ladies

We headed back home for Thanksgiving and had an amazing day with a full house. The Garcias joined us and it was so great hearing all the kids play hide and seek outside. It was a classic holiday.

We clean up nice

The older boys got the turkey legs. Alexander annihilated his, per usual. Benson was less impressed. This may not translate into a tradition for him!

Black Friday shopping the next day included cookies at the Letters to Santa station

The tree is picked and ready for decorations tonight

The boys are hanging lights and setting up decorations.

They built a fort and played "orphans" this afternoon when we got home from church. I love seeing them be kids.

Unfortunately, I seem to have caught a nasty head cold just in time for the break to be over. I am taking today to rest and recover so I can get back at it tomorrow!

Happy Thanksgiving, all! The Martin Crew is so very thankful for the many blessings in our lives and the love we are surrounded by.
