That's a Wrap! Kinder and 4th grade complete May 2026

Just like that, time has run out on fourth grade and kindergarten!!
These boys helped me pilot Run Club this year, with Alexander totaling 80 miles,
and Nikolai totaling 70 miles!

Alexander was awarded MVP of the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade team

I think these boys earned their blindfold donut sweets at Logen's birthday

For Mother's Day, they learned to cook a new meal - enchiladas!

Sous-chef Niko is a grade A cheese grater

If I'm honest, these were way better than my enchiladas

I'm one lucky Mama

Kinder graduation was a huge production, and our boy took center stage!
I told him that was a true testament to his teachers' trust in him to represent the class

My Kinder Super Hero

His faces on stage make my heart sing

He led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance

Supporting our kinder grad

The parents worked their tales off to transform the sanctuary into a super hero show

Best Buds

Two of the best teachers around
Thanks for an amazing year, Mrs. Nikki and Mrs. Hsueh!

As we were leaving, this kid pulled out his first tooth!

These boys helped me with our pilot year of Warriors Run Club, with Alexander clocking in 80 miles and Nikolai clocking in 70 miles!

Our sweet ol' girl

Alexander's end of year party was a giant swim, bounce, play party that left him a bit toasted

First Day/ Last Day
Fourth Grade and Kindergarten

May also brought Daniel's birthday
We continued our tradition of elaborate cakes with a crocodile cake

The boys spent a week making an expansion pack for Daniel's board game
"Bros Doing Bro Things"
Alexander made the board game for Daniel years ago and it is still a blast to play
The boys made the expansion packs like Pokemon cards, with different packs in a box, one pack including an SIR card (Special Illustration Rare)

Summer has been a blast already with less camps than normal and more family time

Friend Time, too!

And outings

Girls Night Out to see No Doubt!

The show made it into my top 10

We wrapped up the month of May with five straight days of soccer tryouts

Alexander was invited to play defense with one club and an unassigned invite for the second club
Nikolai was invited to join a combined U8/U9 team that will focus on soccer fundamentals

We have accepted the defensive position for Alexander
For the time being, we are going to have both boys continue Taekwondo and will add Soccer Academy at school for Nikolai. Alexander continues to excel in piano, and we are looking to start Nikolai on piano this year. We have chosen to wait to add evening practices and weekend games until Nikolai is able to join the same competitive club that Alexander will be playing for.
We are confident this will happen next year!
