Festive Fun

We are having so much fun this Christmas season!

Last week, we enjoyed two nights out!

We kicked off the season with the squadron Christmas party.  We had such a blast dancing the night away!  It was a new experience for me to know hardly anyone at the party, but luckily this group knows how to get down, so Daniel and I had a blast tearing up the dance floor in true Martin fashion.

My birthday came next and we were lucky enough to celebrate with James!  While we missed the rest of the Ramirez family, James is always great company and it made us feel a little closer to Alyssa, Kiera, and Elena to be able to spend time with James

Alexander was so very excited to see Kiera's daddy, requesting that he sit next to him for hibachi and requesting this picture before we said goodnight.

The very next evening, we went to the Bellagio to enjoy the Christmas garden display and dinner with out friends Chris and Karla Kay.
The gardens were breathtaking!

The evening was truly magical.  We weren't able to get a table for happy hour, but instead were seated directly at the fountain, just in time for back to back water shows that lasted for much of our delicious meal, ending with Silent Night, sung first in Italian and then in English.
It was incredible to say the least.
Living in Vegas is so much fun!

Earlier in the week, we were SO EXCITED to see our friends, Brandon and Nicole, and their two boys.  Having just moved back to the states from Belgium, I had not seen Nicole since she was pregnant with Levi!

We had a great time catching up at the Container Park and Alexander and Liam clicked immediately.

 Sweet, easy friendship

We also got to see our friends Larry and Heck from Florida this same week but I failed to take any pictures.  It was so amazing getting to see friends from home.

Daniel is taking his paternity leave now that training is over and it has allowed some amazing family time for us!
Trying to take a family Christmas picture selfie!

Brother snuggles on the morning of my birthday

These two make my heart happy

And then there is this guy....no words necessary!

And just for fun, here is Alexander in the same Rudolph onesie!

Here's to a holiday filled with love and joy and all the smiles!
